Beatriz Cunha
Born in Lisbon in 1959
Studied history at UNL- New University of Lisbon, Contemporary Jewelry
at AR.CO.-Art School and Sculpture at FBAUL- Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon
In the nineties she began her approach to sculpture, exploring techniques and materials, developing her artistic language independently. Experimentation, is fundamental in the design of her works, leading to the creation of structures that require discipline and technical precision. She see art as an ongoing process and expression, as an integral part of her life.
She's a Member of the Fine Arts National Society-SNBA and the Portuguese Authors Society-SPA.
